RIM DIAMETER

mm.
The effective diameter of the rim.
Where you want the spokes to end with no tension on them.

HUB DIAMETER

mm.
Diameter of the circle that passes through the centers of the spoke holes.

HUB WIDTH

mm.
The width of the hub from the center of the flanges.
An easy way to do this is to measure the total width of the hub and subtract the thickness of one flange.

CROSSES

How many times you want a spoke to cross others on the same side of the hub.

NUMBER of SPOKES

Count the number of holes in your rim.


SPOKE LENGTH


Use this number for the front wheel and the left side of the rear wheel.
For the right (drive) side of the rear wheel subtract 2 mm.
